In Zoey's Head is a humorous, spiritual story about a radio announcer who copes with life by attaching songs, movies, and TV sitcoms to her reality.
After a week of surprises and tragedies, she discovers her namesake is more than a foot-reading gypsy and God is, in fact, answering her questions.

(Ed. Note: I laughed out loud, fought back tears, and contemplated the meaning of life. Call me shallow, but if I can get that from any novel, I consider it way more than a break-even experience. -S.W.)
But this Amazon reviewer said it far better than I could ever say it....
Fun Read!,

Similar to the movie "Sliding Doors", "In Zoey's Head" does an amazing job showing how one split second or interpretation can affect the twists and turns of the rest of your life. It makes you reflect back on your life and wonder did I really see what I thought I saw? The book welcomes you into the main character's, Zoey, inner most thoughts and there is a comforting sense that you are not alone in life's emotional roller coaster. I had several moments where I thought to myself, I've been there, done that! Well worth the read due to how easy it is to relate. |
